SPECIAL NOTICE: The head of the emergency situation has ended restrictions on movement at Raatuse residence hall

Tallinn, Stenbock House, 14 May 2020 – The head of the emergency situation, Jüri Ratas, repealed the order, by which the Raatuse 22 residence hall, located in Tartu, had been closed in connection with the COVID-19 outbreak. Ratas repealed the order because the outbreak in the dormitory has ended and all of its residents have been declared healthy.

At present, all of those people who tested positive at the Raatuse 22 residence hall have been declared healthy and they and their close contacts no longer require further isolation. According to the Health Board, the establishment of a restriction on movement and the quarantining of residents in the residence hall has fulfilled its purpose, people have recovered, and the outbreak in the Raatuse 22 residence hall has subsided.
